Certified Classical Pilates Teacher, Certified Personal Trainer
Lynnea has been a passionate and thoughtful athlete and mover since childhood. A former social worker and court advocate who had always enjoyed recreational sports, she came to Pilates after success in a variety of athletic and fitness activities. She is an experienced teacher and is dedicated to helping a wide range of clients improve their fitness and well-being.
Lynnea has worked with a wide range of clients: rugby and football players, cyclists, yogis, mixed martial arts (MMA) athletes, the elderly, cancer survivors, and athletes and non-athletes who are preparing for, or recovering from, surgery or who just want to gain core strength. She designs fun and effective workouts for postnatal fitness and strength-building. She works with people with multiple sclerosis (MS) who find that Pilates with Lynnea helps ease their symptoms as well as improve their strength, balance and endurance.
Lynnea loves tailoring Pilates workouts to the precise needs, capability, and preferences of each client.
Lynnea earned her BS in Sociology with a Minor in Women’s Studies from Southern Oregon University. She earned a Personal Trainer certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and received her Classical Pilates certification studying with Dorothee Vandewalle at Metropolitan Pilates in Seattle.
